Seven-year-old boy killed after being hit by water tanker in Karachi

KARACHI(National times)- A seven-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by an over-speeding water tanker in Karachi on late Friday night, Dunya News reported. According to details, the tragic accident occurred near Khalil Market in Karachi where a rashly driven water tanker hit seven-year-old Arsalan, as a result he died on the spot. The tanker driver managed to escape from the scene after the accident. A heavy contingent of police along with rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the dead body to hospital. The residents of the area also gathered at the site after the accident and staged a protest. They demanded immediate arrest of the tanker driver. Meanwhile, police have launched a search operation to arrest the tanker driver.
