High-Level Pakistani Delegation Holds Comprehensive Talks with MEP Michael Gahler on Regional Stability and International Law

Strasbourg (National Times) A high-level delegation from Pakistan engaged in detailed discussions with Michael Gahler, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and representative of the European People’s Party (EPP Group).

During the meeting, the delegation raised serious concerns over India’s increasing unilateral actions, highlighting its abrogation of international agreements and disregard for established norms. Particular emphasis was placed on the weaponization of the Indus Waters Treaty, which the delegation described as a grave threat to regional ecosystems and the integrity of global treaties.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to peaceful diplomacy and adherence to international law, the delegation called for renewed focus on dialogue and multilateral cooperation to ensure lasting peace and stability in South Asia.
