Rawalpindi (National Times) Pakistan’s military has said that India targeted three of its airbases with missiles strikes.
According to Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian aircraft fired ground-to-air missiles targeting Nur Khan Airbase, PAF Base Murid, and PAF Base Shorkot that is known as Rafiqui Base.
General Chaudhry also claimed that India fired missiles into Afghanistan, calling the move “highly dangerous” and part of a broader effort to destabilise the region.
“India is pushing the entire region towards war,” he stressed.
He confirmed that all the Pakistan Air Force assets are safe and unharmed.
In a strong message to New Delhi, the DG ISPR warned that Pakistan would respond in due course. “Wait for our answer,” he warned.

Pakistan has said that India is attempting to destabilise the region through reckless military actions, including a drone strike inside Afghanistan.
In a press briefing on Saturday, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said India was “using deception to push the entire region towards war”.
The military spokesperson warned that Pakistan would not be intimidated by India’s aggression and deceit.
General Chaudhry gave a firm message to New Delhi: “Wait for our answer.”
Air defence system blocked Indian missiles, says DG ISPR
Pakistan’s military says its air defence system successfully intercepted and neutralised missile attacks launched by India.
Pakistan has electronic evidence confirming the strikes, said Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
