Pakistan(National Times)- DUBAI: Renowned Pakistani artist Imran Qureshi, celebrated for his innovative and culturally rich art, has brought his latest masterpieces to Dubai in an exclusive solo exhibition. Qureshi, a recipient of Pakistan’s prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz, is known for blending traditional techniques with modern narratives. A standout attraction is a vividly colourful “Charpoy” (traditional woven bed) designed in Pakistan by Qureshi’s team. This piece, symbolising the fusion of heritage and contemporary creativity, has become the highlight of the exhibition, drawing admiration from visitors and Emirati guests alike. Curator Nida Raza commended Imran Qureshi’s ability to weave political and cultural themes into his work, describing the “Charpoy” installation as a remarkable celebration of Pakistani traditions. Visitors have expressed their awe at the diversity of the artwork. While Pakistanis found the exhibition a nostalgic journey into their heritage, international audiences discovered the depth of Pakistan’s cultural richness. The exhibition, which has received widespread acclaim, will remain open to the public until April 18.
