PTI decides not to attend APC on Palestine

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Backtracking from its earlier position, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided not to attend the All Parties Conference (APC) convened by the government on Palestine.

PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said the party had taken this decision after lengthy deliberations over the matter.

In current circumstances, party leaders and members of the PTI are currently detained and therefore, the party has decided not to attend the APC session, he added.

It should be mentioned that the APC would be convened today in the Aiwan-i-Sadar and hosted by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The PTI decided earlier to participate in the APC but later it changed its mind.
