Fazl condemns assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman condemned the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, calling it an act of “cowardly terrorism” by Israel.

In a statement issued from Islamabad, JUI-F chief highlighted Nasrallah’s lifetime of resistance against Israeli aggression, saying that his martyrdom would only serve to strengthen the ongoing struggle.

“The disgraceful face of Zionism has become even more evident with this blatant act,” he added.
Rehman further prayed for Allah to accept the martyrdom of Nasrallah, expressing hope that his sacrifice would inspire a renewed passion in the fight against oppression.
