Honda Civic Gets New Feature in Pakistan

Islamabad (National Times) Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited has announced an upgrade for its popular model, the Civic. According to a social media post by the company, the Civic will now offer wireless charging as an option in the Oriel and RS variants.

The company encouraged customers to “charge up with convenience and style” and visit their nearest Honda 3S Dealership for more details. For those eyeing a new Honda Civic, the latest upgrade might be worth considering.

The newly added wireless charging feature in the Oriel and RS variants allows hassle-free mobile charging while driving. Although the company hasn’t revealed the extra cost for this upgrade yet, further details are expected soon.

When the 11th generation Honda Civic was launched in Pakistan in 2022, it came in three variants, with the base model priced at PKR 50.99 lac, the Oriel at PKR 53.99 lac, and the flagship RS variant at PKR 61.49 lac.

However, due to increased taxes, depreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar, and other economic pressures the prices have nearly doubled.
The vehicle became the slowest-selling Civic in the company’s 30-year history in Pakistan, primarily due to its steep pricing. Between March and December 2022, Honda sold 5,693 units of the Civic. However, in 2023, sales plummeted, with only 1,967 units sold throughout the year.
