FBR Chairman Amjad Zubair Tiwana seeks early retirement

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Federal Board of Revenue (FBR ) Chairman Amjad Zubair Tiwana has requested for early retirement from his office.

According to sources, Tiwana has also submitted two weeks’ notice for leaving his charge.

The FBR chairman has also written a letter to the PM office, informing the premier about his decision to resign.

According to sources, the FBR chairman was due to retire in February 2025, however, he has sought early retirement.

He says he wants to leave his charge in the FBR office, though he has not cited any reason.

He also talked about his early retirement plan in meetings with higher-ups in the recent past.
