Plea for removal of name from ECL: IHC seeks details of cases against Zartaj Gul

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought details of cases registered against PTI leader Zartaj Gul on her petition seeking removal of her name from Exit Control List (ECL) besides adjourning further hearing after Eid holidays.

The case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri Tuesday.

The court inquired name of Zartaj Gul is placed in what list.

The court was told Zartaj Gul name is placed on PCL.

The state counsel told the court two FIRs are registered against Zartaj Gul and due to these FIRs her name was placed in PCL.

The court remarked that if bail has been accepted in all FIRs then its record be filed.

The court while directing to file record adjourned the hearing of the case after Eid holidays.
