Naming PIC under construction scheme after Maryam Nawaz challenged

LAHORE (National Times) Naming under construction scheme of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC):

A miscellaneous Petition has been filed by citizen Mashkoor Hussain through advocate Nadim Sarwar in LHC making Punjab government, chief secretary Punjab and others respondents.

The petitioner has taken plea under construction bloc of Punjab Institute of Cardiology has been named after Maryam Nawaz. Attributing government buildings to an individual is violation of constitution and Supreme Court decisions. Bureaucracy is using national exchequer mercilessly to please Maryam Nawaz. Personal publicity of Maryam Nawaz is being made through national kitty.

It is requested to court to stop the act of naming government buildings after Maryam Nawaz, petition said.
