Telecom federal secretary arrested on misconduct in court

RAWALPINDI (National Times) Telecommunication federal secretary has been arrested from courtroom for misconduct in court.

Civil Judge Adil Sarwar Siyal was infuriated with defamatory and inappropriate behaviour of federal secretary and ordered his arrest.

Court sentenced the federal secretary with 15-day imprisonment and Rs2,000 fine.

Telecommunication Federal Secretary Muhammad Umar Malik appeared before the court as a petitioner in the case. The court took the notice of misconduct in the courtroom during the hearing.

Court also issued order of arrest of federal secretary who was taken to Adiala Jail.
