Motorway chowk blocking case: Court extends interim bail of Ali Amin Gandapur

RAWALPINDI (National Times) Additional District and Sessions Judge Rawalpindi Faisal Rashid has extended interim bail of Ali Amin Gandapur Chief Minister ( CM) KP till June 11 in the case registered against him for blocking motorway chowk in connection with reception of former Chairman PTI, interference in government affairs and others clauses.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case on the exemption plea of the accused.

During the hearing of the case Muhammad Afzal advocate counsel for Ali Amin Gandapur took the stance in written plea that his client cannot appear in the court due to his engagements with reference to budget and government affairs. Therefore, exemption from attendance is needed.

The court while accepting the plea adjourned the hearing of the case till June 11.

It is pertinent to mention here Naseer Abad police had registered case on March 19 last year under sections, 186m 149, 148, 341 and 188 of Pakistan Penal code against Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur and others for blocking motorway chowk and interfering in the affairs of government.
