LAHORE (National Times) PTI founder Imran Khan has challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) the step of approval of grave cases against him by Punjab government.
PTI founder has filed petition in LHC through Latif Khosa advocate making Punjab government, Inspector General Punjab, interior ministry and others respondents.
The petition said Imran Khan is former Prime Minister (PM) and a respectable citizen. PTI founder is imprisoned in Adiala Jail in different cases. Punjab government gave approval to register grave cases against Imran Khan and other leadership of PTI. This move of Punjab government is violation of article 10 of the constitution.
Imran Khan has requested the court through the petition to nullify the step of Punjab government regarding approval of registration of grave cases.
It is pertinent to mention here cabinet of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz had given approval on May 25 for registration of more cases against PTI founder and other leaders of PTI for launching hate campaign against army and other institutions.
