Jinnah House attack case: ATC rejects bail before arrest plea of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (National Times) Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has dismissed bail before arrest plea of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in Jinnah House attack case declaring it pre-mature.
Judge Arshid Javed of ATC heard bail before arrest plea of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Monday.

The petitioner took the plea it is feared Pervaiz Elahi will be arrested in Jinnah House attack case. The former CM is in jail on judicial remand in other cases. The court is requested to accept bail before arrest plea of Pervaiz Elahi in Jinnah House attack case.

During the hearing of the case the prosecution told the court legal requirements have not been met in bail plea. Pervaiz Elahi has not been arrested in the case.

Later the court wrapped up the petition declaring it pre-mature.
