ATC approves bail of PTI leaders Dr Yasmin Rashid, Umar Sarfraz and others in provocative speech and siege and arson case

LAHORE (National Times): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has approved bail of PTI leaders Yasmin Rashid and Umar Sarfraz in provocative speech and siege and arson case.

Judge Arshid Javed of ATC gave the decision Friday after hearing arguments of the lawyers.

The court had ordered to release Yasmin Rashid against surety bonds worth Rs 5 lac.

Sarwar road police has registered case against the accused.

Dr Yasmin Rashid and other leaders and workers were nominated by Sarwar Road Police in FIR in the case of alleged attack on Corps commander house under terrorism clauses.
It is pertinent to mention here the prosecution while filing challan in court in 5 cases including attack on PML-N House and provocative speeches on Sher Pao pull during previous hearing had taken the plea challan has been filed against more accused. The accused be summoned.

PTI leaders, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mehmood ur Rashid, Ijaz Chaudjry, Umar Sarfraz Cheema and other accused were presented in the court.

The prosecution while filing challan of 6 cases including provocative speech on Sherpao pull and attack on PML-N House had taken plea that challan has been filed against more accused persons. The accused be summoned.

The court while issuing call up notice to the accused adjourned the hearing of the case.
