Plea for removal of Zartaj Gul name from ECL: Court summons record of the case

ISLAMABAD (National Times): Islamabad High Court (IHC) during hearing of PTI leader and MNA Zartaj Gul petition in connection with removal of her name from ECL has sought record from counsel of the petitioner and adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
Petition filed by PTI central leader for removal of her name from ECL came up for hearing before Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of IHC Thursday.
The state counsel took the plea during the hearing of the case that name of Zartaj Gul is included in PNIL.
The court inquired name was placed in PNIL at whose behest. FIA includes name in PNIL.

The state counsel told the court name was included in PNIL at behest of Islamabad and Punjab police.

The state counsel told that five cases are registered against Zartaj Gul in Islamabad and Lahore.

Asama advocate counsel for Zartaj Gul said Zartaj Gul is on bail in all cases registered against her. The name of the person who is on bail is also included in PNIL list.

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri inquired during the hearing of the case Zartaj Gul is on bail in how many cases. The petitioner is directed to appear in the court on next hearing.

Later the court while directing counsel for Zartaj Gul to appear along with record in next week adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
