Meesha Shafi sexual harassment case: SC dismisses Ali Zafar appeal against Meesha Shafi plea for her cross examination through video link

ISLAMABAD (National Times): Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed Ali Zafar appeal against singer Meesha Shafi plea for her cross examination through a video link as withdrawn.

Meesha Shafi sexual harassment case came up for hearing before SC Tuesday.

A three members bench of SC presided over by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah took up the case for hearing.
Singer Ali Zafar withdrew his petition in connection with Online cross questioning of Meesha Shafir.

Counsel for Ali Zafar said Online cross questioning of Meesha Shafi has taken place. We want to withdraw appeal being in-fructuous.

SC dismissed the appeal plea as withdrawn.

In 2018,Meesha Shafi had alleged Ali Zafar of sexually harassing her several times.

Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi both had filed defamation cases against each other, This conflict has not reached logic end so far.
