Court extends Azam Swati interim bail in controversial tweet case

ISLAMABAD (National Times): Special Judge Central Islamabad has extended interim bail of PTI leader Azam Swati till May 15 in controversial tweet case.

The controversial tweet case against Azam Swati came up for hearing before Special Judge Central Islamabad Hummayun Dilawar Monday.

Counsel Ali Bukhari took the plea Azam Swati was bailed out on merit.

Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi said court’s concession was misused. Azam Swati had become proclaimed offender after his bail. I have to obtain directives about my client with reference to case therefore, some time be given.

The court while extending interim bail of Azam Swati till May 15 adjourned the hearing of the case.
