Palestinian death toll in Gaza rises to 33,091: ministry

GAZA (National Times) The Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Friday that the death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 33,091.

In a press statement, the ministry said that the Israeli army killed 54 Palestinians and wounded 82 others during the past 24 hours.

This brings the total death toll to 33,091 and injuries to 75,750 since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out on Oct. 7, 2023, according to the ministry.

Meanwhile, a young Palestinian was killed Friday by Israeli forces in the Nour Shams refugee camp in the city of Tulkarm in northern West Bank, according Palestinian medical and security sources.

Israel launched a large-scale offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip to retaliate against a Hamas rampage in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, during which about 1,200 people were killed and more than 200 were taken hostage.
