Pakistan to face New Zealand in second ODI in Karachi

KARACHI (National Times) – The second One Day International of three-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in Karachi on Wednesday.

After Pakistan opted to bowl first, Naseem Shah picked up his second ODI five-for – in back-to-back games, having last played in August 2022 – to restrict New Zealand to 255 for 9. And then, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan stroked fine half-centuries to help Pakistan go 1-0 up in the three-match series in Karachi.

Pakistan is leading the series one-nil. After today’s game, Pakistan will play their final match in Karachi on Friday, Jan 13.
