Lt Gen Nigar Johar visits flood-affected areas of Sindh, Balochistan

RAWALPINDI (National Times) – Surgeon General Pakistan Army Lieutenant General Nigar Johar on Thursday visited the flood-affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Surgeon General visited various field medical camps set up by Pakistan Army in Naseerabad and Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan.

According to the ISPR statement, Lieutenant General Nigar Johar also visited various field medical camps in Dadu, Chhoor, Badin and Hyderabad in Sindh.

Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Nagar Johar said that especially newborn children and women have been severely affected by the floods. She asked the staff at the medical camps to ensure availability of food to children and pregnant women. She also instructed the doctors to vaccinate the victims of cholera and typhoid.
