Asad Umar says organized campaign being run against Imran Khan

LAHORE (National Times) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Asad Umar on Wednesday claimed that an organized campaign is being run against Imran Khan.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the PTI leader said that a country’s politics is under influence of some rich people and Imran Khan is fighting to end the hold of that small group over the country.

Asad Umar said that FIA officials raided residence of Senator Saifullah Niazi and confiscated his laptop but claimed that real reason behind the raid was to harass PTI Chief.

The PTI leader said that ‘illegal’ government should not have a right to appoint the new Army Chief so the current COAS should be given extension to take the matters forward.

Asad Umar also rebuffed rumors about Punjab government and claimed that PTI’s Punjab government was not in any danger as people are with Imran Khan.
