LG elections: All set for re-polling in 13 wards of 8 districts of Balochistan

QUETTA (National Times) – All arrangements have been finalized for re-polling of local government elections in 13 wards of eight districts of Balochistan today (Saturday), Dunya News reported.

Polling will start at 8:00am and will continue till 5:00pm without any interval.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has established a Central Control Room in Islamabad and Provincial Election Commissioner office in Quetta for monitoring and registering complaints related to re-polling of local government elections.

Re-polling would held in 15 polling stations of 13 wards of eight districts of Balochistan including Duki, Killa Abdullah, Ziarat, Loralai, Panjgur, Sibi, Naushki and Kech.

The local government elections were postponed in the aforementioned districts on May 29, 2022, due to law and order and other incidents.
