Met office predicts rain in various parts of country

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain wind-thunderstorm at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region and upper Punjab during the next 24 hours.

Mainly dry weather is expected in other parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is likely to affect western/upper parts of the country from Today and may persist in upper parts for next few days.

During the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. The highest maximum temperatures recorded in Sibbi where temperature climbed up to 48 °C.
