Skardu will become a world winter sports destination, says PM

LAHORE (National Times) – The Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan stated that Skardu will become a world sports destination in winters.

The PM has shared pictures of Skardu on twitter, showcasing the beauty and glamour of the area. The pictures also included a photo of girls playing ice hokey in Gilgit-Baltistan. The PM has expressed that now with the international airport in the area, it will most likely become the world sports destination in winters.

“Skardu at night & our girls playing ice hockey in GB. With an international airport now at Skardu, this area will InshaAllah become a world winter sports destination,” tweeted PM Imran Khan.
