Attorney General Office writes letter to Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – On the issue of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s return to the country, the Attorney General s Office (AGO) has written a letter to President Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday.

The letter referred to Shehbaz Sharif’s guarantee in the Lahore High Court (LHC) regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif. According to the statement mentioned in the letter the implementation of the letter must be done on the guarantee given in the LHC. Medical reports of former premier and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif should be provided to the Special Medical Board within 10 days.

The letter further stated that legal action would be taken against Nawaz Sharif and a contempt of court petition will be filed in the Lahore High Court against him if he does not submit the report to medical board.
