Time to hold govt accountable for inflation, economic crisis: Hamza Shahbaz

LAHORE (National Times) – Opposition leader of Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Monday said that it is time for holding the current government accountable for putting national security at stake, strangling the nation’s economy and making inflation rise sky high.

While talking to the media, the opposition leader said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and his incompetent Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar have done nothing other than taking credit for the projects initiated by former CM Shehbaz Sharif.

Hamza Shahbaz further said that their only focus is bullying, intimidation and political revenge.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that the previous day the PM seemed like a person who has already lost and is now only covering up his failures whereas Shehbaz Sharif got a clean chit from Britain’s National Crime Agency as well as the three member bench of highcourt while the political opponents could not prove a single penny corruptionin any of the made-up cases.

The only things Imran Niazi should worry about is Toshakhanaand the foreign funding case, said the opposition leader of Punjab.

Hamza Shahbaz also said that the safe city authority camera’s malfunctioning at the place of the Lahore blast is concerning. Even I have pointed this issue out to the government times and again but to no avail.
