PM appoints Shah Mahmood as PTI’s vice chairman

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has appointed Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi as the party s Vice Chairman, Dunya News reported.

A notification of Shah Mahmood s appointment has also been issued by the PTI Secretariat on Thursday. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also constituted a 20-member Central Advisory Committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The committee includes Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Pervez Khattak, Amir Kayani, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Khusro Bakhtiar, Shafqat Mehmood and Imran Ismail. Ali Zaidi, Qasim Soori, Ali Amin Gandapur, Asad Qaiser, Hamad Azhar, Usman Bazdar, Mahmood Khan, Shirin Mazari, Saifullah Niazi, Murad Saeed, Chaudhry Sarwar and Khan Muhammad Jamali are also members of the Central Advisory Committee.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has formed a 17-member Advisory Committee of Punjab headed by Shafqat Mehmood. Asad Umar has been appointed as secretary general of the Advisory Committee of Punjab.

The Advisory Committee of Punjab consists of Fawad Chaudhry, Usman Dar, Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Ejaz Chaudhry and Dr Yasmeen Rashid. Samsam Bukhari, Rai Murtaza, Simabia Tahir and Sadia Sohail are also part of the Punjab Advisory Committee.
