PML-N submits resolution in Punjab Assembly to condemn reported attacks on Nawaz

Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday submitted a ‘condemnation resolution’ in Punjab assembly against reported attacks over PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in London.
According to details, four veiled people reportedly tried to attack Nawaz Sharif’s son Hassan Nawaz’s office, while the former PM was inside the office at that time.
Shehbaz sharif, who is the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, said it was a matter of concern that armed assailants tried to carry out a “vicious attack” on the PML-N supremo who has been in London since November 2019 for purported medical treatment.
On Saturday, PML-N Punjab lawmaker Hina Parves Butt submitted condemnation resolution in Punjab assembly. ‘This auspicious house condemns attack over former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in extreme words. Four veiled invasive attacked Hassan Nawaz’s office in London, while Nawaz Sharif was present inside the office at the time.” The content of the resolution read.
The resolution further said “These are the same elements who attacked Nawaz Sharif’s house and office before. Billions of Nawaz Sharif followers and party workers are under a stress after these attacks. This house demands immediate arrest of those masked men who tried to attack Nawaz Sharif.”
Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who is the vice president of PML-N and daughter of Nawaz Sharif Friday tweeted saying that “Resorting to gross CRIMINALITY in the face of political frustration and defeat. Peoples voice will not be silenced by low life 3rd rate criminals. Nawaz Sharif is the voice of the people of Pakistan and will not be silenced, Insha’Allah. May Allah protect you.
