104 fatalities reported due to corona virus during last 24 hours in the country

ISLAMABAD: As many as 104 fatalities took place and 2869 persons tested positive due to corona virus epidemic during the last 24 hours in the country.
According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,869 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the tally of positive cases to 867,446. The positivity ratio stands at 7.42% .
This is the first time in almost two months that Pakistan reported less than 3,000 coronavirus cases as on March 16, 2,351 new cases of the virus had been reported
The casualties reported during the last 24 hours stood at 104 bringing the tally of the fatalities to 19210 all over the country on Wednesday.
322,117 coronavirus cases have been reported in Punjab, 294,251 in Sindh, 125,392 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 78,560 in Islamabad, 23,655 in Balochistan, 18,056 in Azad Kashmir, and 5,407 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
12,310,875 coronavirus tests have been conducted so far while 38,616 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.

771,692 patients have recovered in the country and 4,707 patients are stated to be in critical condition. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 7.42 percent.
