Afghanistan reports 10 new COVID-19 cases, 56,103 in total

KABUL, March 20 (Xinhua) — Afghanistan’s Public Health Ministry reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, raising the total infections to 56,103, including 3,917 active cases.The pandemic has so far claimed 2,463 lives in Afghanistan since February last year, up by one in the past 24 hours, the ministry said in a statement. A total of 42 patients have recovered during the cited period. According to the ministry, more than 330,000 tests for the virus have been carried out in Afghanistan as of Saturday. Enditem
