Saira Banu admitted to the hospital due to breathing issues

MUMBAI(National Times): Veteran actress Saira Banu has been admitted to Hinduja hospital in Mumbai after she complained of breathing issues. A close relative of the family informs, “She was finding it difficult to breathe, so was rushed to the hospital. After initial investigations, it was found that there was a strain on her heart. She was admitted three days ago and is much better now”.
They revealed that Saira ji has been finding it difficult to cope with the loss of Dilip Kumar who passed away on July 7. A long phase of her life had revolved around him, and now, in Dilip saab’s absence, things are seemingly tough for the actress who had married the thespian when she was all of 22.
Ever since the past few years, it was Saira ji who kept fans and the media updated about the late actor’s health. Every time the legendary actor was hospitalized, she would be by his side throughout. When he passed away in July, pictures of her breaking down as she hugged Shah Rukh Khan–whom the duo considered to be a son–broke everyone’s hearts. The actress recently turned 77 on August 23.
